He also has extensive international experience having been active in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/fao-who-codexalimentarius\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-content=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/fao-who-codexalimentarius\/en\/\" data-type=\"external\">Codex Alimentarius<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-content=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/\" data-type=\"external\">WTO<\/a>\u00a0and SPS committees.<br \/>Cameron has participated in, and led many technical trade negotiations regarding market \u00a0access for food and agricultural products. Mr. Prince most recently held the most senior executive position at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inspection.gc.ca\/eng\/1297964599443\/1297965645317\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-content=\"http:\/\/www.inspection.gc.ca\/eng\/1297964599443\/1297965645317\" data-type=\"external\">Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)<\/a>\u00a0as Vice President of Operations. He also led the Food Safety Modernization initiative now underway in Canada under the Safe Food for Canadians Act (SFCA).<br \/>Cameron retired from CFIA in late 2013 and joined TAG in January 2014. His areas of specialization are: food safety recall and crisis management, development of food safety systems under FSMA, GFSI and SFCA, Animal Feed programs, Food Safety audit, and government regulatory liaison.<\/p><p class=\"font_8\">Cameron is a certified lead auditor for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brcglobalstandards.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-content=\"https:\/\/www.brcglobalstandards.com\/\" data-type=\"external\">BRC<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fssc22000.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-content=\"http:\/\/fssc22000.com\/\" data-type=\"external\">FSSC 2200<\/a>, certified HACCP trainer (NSF), and a FSMA Preventive Controls\u00a0lead instructor<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Managing Director, TAG Canada, and Executive VP, Regulatory Affairs<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":9802,"template":"","class_list":["post-11066","team","type-team","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
